Pakistan has announced thousands of scholarships for students from Afghanistan

To strengthen bilateral connections between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Pakistani government has established the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships Phase-III, which would be awarded to 4,500 Afghan students.

The federal government offers scholarships for undergraduate, graduate (MS/MPhil), and doctorate (PhD) degrees in disciplines including medical, engineering, agriculture, management, computer science, and others through the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Eligibility criteria for scholarships for students from Afghanistan

For Bachelor’s

Applicants must have a 12 year education or a comparable one; be aged between 17 and 23 prior to the deadline; 60 percent in IBCC equivalence or at least 75 percent in Shahdatnama.
If the applicant is a student studying medicine or engineering, they must meet the entrance requirements set out by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), which are 60 and 65 percent, respectively.

For MS/MPhil

Candidate must:

If the applicant is a non-faculty individual, they must be 35 years of age or younger. The maximum age for professors is 40.
possess a 16-year education.
own a CGPA of at least 2.5 on a scale of 4.

For PhD

Applicants must:

if they are not academics, they must be 35 years of age or younger. The upper age restriction for faculty members is 40.
possess a high school diploma.
possess a CGPA of at least 3 out of 4.

Axel Adler Scholarships for International Students in Sweden – 2023

The University of Gothenburg offers the Axel Adler Scholarships, which are tuition-free scholarships for overseas undergraduate and graduate programmes taught in English. The primary factor used to choose scholars is the applicant’s suitability for the study programme. Adlerbertska Grant Foundation, Adlerbertska Scholarship Foundation, and the Swedish Council for Higher Education all contribute to funding the Axel Adler Scholarship (UHR).

Requirements for Axel Adler Scholarship

In order to qualify for the Axel Adler Scholarship:

You are considered as a student who pays fees.
Your top priority at the University of Gothenburg was an international campus-based programme, so you applied for it.
You have used www.universityadmission.se to apply for studies by 16 January 2023, pay the application cost, and provide documentation of your eligibility by 1 February 2023.

Application Procedure

Students who have applied to a program at the University of Gothenburg as their first priority through www.universityadmission.se, will receive an email with application instructions on 8 February 2023. The invitation to apply for Axel Adler Scholarship will be sent to the email address you have registered at universityadmissions.se.

You must submit a CV and a Letter of Motivation with your application for an Axel Adler Scholarship because these documents are utilised to choose the recipients. The motivational letter gives you the chance to showcase accomplishments from your resume. Other types of documentation cannot be submitted with your scholarship application.

Selection process

Based on your CV and motivation letter from your scholarship application, academic staff evaluates and ranks your scholarship application. In order to determine your fitness for the programme as well as your dedication and desire to study, the assessment is conducted in conjunction with the evaluation of your study programme application.

Each programme receives one scholarship.

A total of four scholarships will be given throughout all Master’s programmes in music and performance, fine art, crafts, and design, as an exception.

On April 5, 2023, applicants at the Master’s level will receive an email with their decision.

On April 12, 2023, applicants for bachelor’s degrees will receive their decision.
